Welcome Beautiful!
Q1: What type of makeup do you offer?
A: Makeup looks range from natural, soft glam and full glam. Please note that the more dramatic the look is, the longer the appointment may take. SkyesArtistry also offers theatrical makeup upon request, however, this service must be booked in advanced to allow for proper preparation.
Q2: What type of hairstyles do you offer?
A: Hairstyles include a variety of curl options, such as romantic loose waves, beachy waves, mermaid waves, Hollywood waves, tight curls and loose spirals. Half-up styles are also available. Please note that Hollywood waves require additional time and may also require hair extensions to achieve the desired volume. Full updos are not offered at this time.
Q3: Do you offer airbrushed makeup?
A: I specialize in traditional application to achieve a more skin-like finish. Traditional artistry allows for a level of customization, blendability and buildable coverage for a wide range of clients.
Q4: How should I prepare for my makeup and/or hairstyling appointment?
A: Arrive with freshly cleanse skin and clean hair. Second day hair is ideal for styling unless prone to oil. Please do not receive a facial or wax your brows and/or face closer than 5 days prior to any event. It’s very important not to have any facial waxing done during the week of your makeup appointment. This is because waxing affects the consistency of the makeup and can end up looking patchy in the areas that have been waxed.
Q5: Am I allowed to have eyelash extensions on while you do my makeup?
A: The answer is YES! I’m able to work around the lashes while avoiding getting makeup on them. Alternatively, if you prefer to wear strip or individual lashes I have plenty of styles and lengths to choose from.
